Nicholas Proy's Free Hobby Tools and Technical Reference Projects

Browse Free Tools, References, and Utilities

I am a solo attorney, and this site is the web space I maintain for my hobbies and personal technical projects rather than legal content. These apps, tools, datasets, and utilities aren'tt legal advice, and using them does not create an attorney-client relationship. I built them to alleviate problems I have run into myself, and I thought I would put them online to share with others who may find them useful.

Each tool is built as a static HTML page. In practical terms, that means it can run in a normal web browser without requiring a separate app, e-mail address, account, login, or database server. It also keeps my hosting needs modest, which helps me keep these resources freely available.

The factual data used by these tools comes from a range of public and third-party sources. Although I try to present the information accurately and usefully, source data may be incomplete, outdated, or subject to change, so please verify anything important against the original source. The selection, organization, interface design, explanatory text, and overall presentation are my own work. Links are welcome, but please do not scrape, clone, mirror, or republish these pages.
